It remains to be seen if the BJP, if elected, will draw from the previous Vajpayee-led government’s stance on foreign policy issues like Sri Lanka. Now may be a good time for the BJP to declare its agenda on such issues, considering that it could win them more voters, at least in Tamil Nadu, which has a sizeable 39 Lok Sabha seats.
